On October 13th the kids and I joined up with my friend from work, Heather, and her daughter Zoe along with some of her friends at the Vineyard Nursery in Orem for a cornmaze, pumpkin patch walk, a not-so-haunted haunted house, barnyard animals, swings and inflated bouncy houses and slides. The weather was pleasant and we all had a great time. We picked out three pumpkins to take home with us for eventual carving for Halloween. Cornmazes & Pumpkin Walks

The First of Hopefully Many
Well, I'm finally get'n this new blog on it's feet. I'm only about a month behind coming out of the gate and hopefully I'll get caught up soon. In the latter half of September, the kids and I took a little outing up through Hobblecreek Canyon to gather leaves and enjoy the colors of fall. Later that evening we made some Halloween decorations for the house and using the leaves we had gathered, Brie made a special card for Elder Dad and Sister Mom before they left on their mission. We had a lot of fun as you can tell from the photos. (I'm not 100% certain about linking to Picasa just yet, if the following link does not work let me know) Hobblecreek & Halloween Décor
